Friends,
There are two drain tubes for the sun roof and two more for the C pillar emblem / vents. What is the best place to have them exit the body?
Thanks,
Matt

There are four drains for the sunroof. The rears run over the rear wheel arches and exit outside the car behind the rear tires, which is great. The fronts run down the a-pillars and exit in the kick panel area into a drain slot, which is so-so because if the slot gets clogged it could fill the kick panel area. The C pillar vents normally drain into the quarter window area, which is bad if things get clogged. Many choose to drill a hole in the front portion of the rear wheel well and run the tube (or a fitting attached to the tube) out of the car there so that it drains in front of the rear wheels.

Do you have a suggestion on another location for the exit of the front sunroof drains?

I would extend the front drain tube all the way through the floor of the car, sticking it out the bottom about a quarter of an inch. Hardly visible.

I have no sunroof, but doing it like that keeps all moisture out of your delicate sills/rockers.
