Drew has launched from Kazakhstan on his way to the ISS at 10:44 PDT this morning. They dock with the ISS on Friday. His family is there and we saw them on NASA TV, truly amazing! Drew will be the Commander of Mission 56, this crew is part of Mission 55.
 
This is amazing. What a wonderful view and perspective from up there, I can only imagine. Safe travels!
 
I hope he took - c-pillar roundel up. It would give his E9 even more special provenance if some mechanical bit had been in orbit.
 
I wonder if his spacecraft is powered by Megasquirt? Happy travels, Drew, and I need to send you my latest tuning!
 
Geez he sure looked relaxed before launch. Just the right guy to be up there.
