For my 500th post, I thought I'd start a thread to see how much we get to actually enjoy our cars.
I've had my car three years now and have driven it only about 50 miles. With parts and shipping, that's $230 per mile.
I got it towed home as it wasn't running. After I got it running the first task was to get ready to move from Maui to Austin. I got title, tires and timing set and headed for the dock. Once it arrived in Austin, I did take a small day trip but otherwise the car has been siting because as soon as I got caught up with household tasks, I'd get it in the garage and begin restoration.
Yeah, three years later, and I'm just about to start... really.
I know there are others here that haven't driven their car much, for various reasons, I was just hoping to see what the range was. I have an acquaintance here in Austin (not on the forum) with an early 1970 Belgium delivery 2800cs that hasn't moved out of the garage in at least 4 years because of a brake caliper issue, so I'm ahead of him anyway.
