Does anyone here happen to have a good water control valve for an E12/early E24? This is p/n 6411 1360 820 and it also has a different part number for the other car on it but it's the same part, or at least interchangeable. I went to replace the broken U-joint on my heater control this weekend and the green bit popped out of the valve. Now it has no retention (I have no idea what held it in there!) and it leaks coolant on my right foot. It's a b**ch and a half to replace without taking the whole heater box out, which is only one b**ch but a lot more time, but I've gotta do one or the other unless I magically figure out a way to retain and seal the little green valve thingie. Part is NLA so I've got to look for a used one, preferably already out of someone's car.
