Many of the suspension swaps using e28 suspension mention using the M5 suspension from the E28. Is there a big/noticable difference between the regular and the M5 for my E9?

Thanks

Not much difference. The geometry is the same but the springs are stronger and probably lower but not much. I think most the of talk about M5 suspensions is for guys that are swapping in S38 engines and need the better/stronger rear ends.
I own an E28 M5.

E24 M6 and 635 owner. M6 springs a little lower and stiffer but shocks the same (non SLS that is)

Thanks m5bb & bavbob!
I currently have the LaJolla lowering springs in now. I have an e28 LSD, M52 motor with some work done and z3 tranny ready to go in once the metal work and the paint are done and really wanted to beef it up a bit.

Ok... In today's age of technology, I was able to find AND purchase BOTH December 1992 European Car magazine and ROUNDEL 1999! Looking for some tech info, hints, specs, etc. Well.....imagine my surprise.....2 articles about the same car, written 27 years ago, 7 years apart.....same exact article! Oh well....plan b is not bad. Upgrade what I have with a good cleaning, powdercoat, bushings and sway bars. Any ideas on products or suppliers would be greatly appreciated.
