Somebody put a lot of time into this looks like body has been shortened?
Why wouldn't you use a coupe body, surely would have worked out cheaper?
 
Looks like it was a Series II E3 - based on the c-pillar design element near the rear windshield. Definitely seems like the body was shortened and the rear doors were welded shut... at 350HP I'll bet this is fun to drive...

Wes - Completely agree, why not use a coupe body in the first place?

First rule of successful automotive design, the rear wheels need to be positioned a little before or under the C pillar - not behind it.
