E3 favorite color & style tread

Hi folks

What is your favorite E3 color/style?

I have many favorites, but in the "classic" end I think this picture shows one of the best combinations of colors and wheels. Quite conservative taste, and I do not expect people to feel the same.

What are your favorits? Please post some pictures and let us see what you like.

i used to think i liked the 72 + 73 bavaria the most ... although i like the leather interior of the 3.0s + 3.0si ... the basic honesty of the 2800 is my favorite - baikal is perfect and so is the picture above. in a heartbeat, it doesn't get much better than that.

I'm so 'ol skool that my favorite wheels are the steel wheels with hub caps and trim rings. I guess that is how I remember the first Bavarias and when I fell in love with them.

@kkro ... Is the picture you posted of a "slick side"?...one with no belt line molding? I have seen some of the early E3s without the belt line trim and I am torn as to wether I like that better. A cleaner look, but the bright trim does add style without being over the top (IMHO).

68-70 2500/2800 had no side trim and they have the two grilles on each C pillar In body color.
