I have personally seen this car. The interior is pretty much trashed. Dash has more cracks than the San Andreas fault! He does have parts all over the place, some in boxes others stacked everywhere.
Even with all the parts this car would be a money pit. But who knows, someone out there might make an offer...?

I wondered about that - the seller's photos on ebay are terrible: mostly shots of new parts he has accumulated and none of the interior. Still, my heart goes out to the guy - obviously this project was begun with high hopes.
It is interesting to see how others proceed with a restoration. Looks like he did very little with the car itself (his list shows $1,320 on bodywork), and instead put his energy into buying parts (including "Greese"). I tend to start with the getting the body ready (which takes a bit more than $1,320), and then buy the parts as I need them, particularly readily-available parts like Greese.
Yea, it will, but most total restorations are money pits. With a BIN of $2,500, at least the starting point isn't unreasonable. If it weren't a slush-O-matic, located in the boondocks, I predict it would be gone already - but not in my driveway.
