I have now fitted the Alpina B10 engine in my E9.

After changing the sump cover and oil pick-up, I am missing some attachments for the steering pump. Has anybody come across any bolt on fitments which will cover my need?

Also - the LHS (from the rear of the car) engine mounting plate is fine, but I need a replacement for the RHS side which currently only has two bolts on the engine. Is there someone who makes these conversion plates, or should i make something?

BTW and off the above topic. I got a Christmas Card from W&N. Does everyone get one, or am I 'customer of the month' again? Either way, it's a nice touch.

Australian photo?

For some reason the photo is upside down - any ideas on this?

I've rotated the image and lightened the shadows for better visibility.

Some programs will see the orientation of the camera (phone?) in the metadata of the image and display the image correctly on your screen, but not actually alter the rotation of image. Web browsers do not do this. So when you post it or send it to others, it is upside down. I've used Photoshop to correct the image rotation and levels.

I have the stock power steering bolted up to an M30B35 with an E28 pan in my Bav but I really couldn't tell you which parts I used. If it stops raining today I'll look under there to see how I did it and take some pics.

As far as the motor mounts go, a pre-89 block should go right in on the stock mounts, 89 and up may require an adapter like this:

I have the front and rear bracket for a coupe power steering pump as well as the aluminum mount. The brackets have been plated.

I will take some pictures tonight and post.

Pm sent with my contact info

According to Realoem the part numbers cross reference between a LHD and RHD car. I am not 100% reliant on the accuracy of their info so you will need to confirm. These brackets go on the left side of the motor as shown. The long aluminum bracket mounts to the block and the other two suspend and allow adjustment of the pump.

I also have the alternator bracket if you need it.
