Hi Guys,

Just saw this poster of the 39th Antwerp classic cars show of this year.

With at least half a dozen E9's at the start of the Spa 24 hours race (not sure what year) I thought I share it with you.

I'm rather confident that at the show itself the E9 will be much more difficult to spot.

What a fantastic photo! How big is that poster?

Do you know if these can be ordered somewhere?

I was at that race as a kid in 1973. I believe in those days the starting line was right up there on the main straight downhill towards Eau Rouge. They later moved it to the back straight (left of the grandstand at the top) because, as you can see here, the cars were way too close to each other as they reached the start of Eau Rouge. Carnage would often ensue.

In this photo you can see that the big battles in those days were often between the BMWs and the Ford Capris.

Hi Bo,

Glad the picture brings back some good memories. I also thought this was 1973. My earliest memories about car races also involved the epic battles between the E9's, Capri's and 911's in the DTM races.

Stupid me forgot to ask for some posters when I visited the show on Friday.:-|

Well just found this "full sized" picture of the '73 24 hours of Spa-Francorchamps.

Seems the first picture left out one more E9.;)
