WOW!!! - The first of them all...

this car 2211343 is one number after Pete's Olympia rally car. this car was the 5th carb CSL and was delivered to Broadspeed in sept 1971. it went to Vasek Polak in 73 and ended up in Sweden in 1999, then Germany in 2008. was put up for sale in feb 2025 at the Sotheby's Paris auction and will be at Sotheby's in Munich soon. of the 169 carb CSL, the ancestry project knows of 56, leaving 113 unknown. would be very curious if anybody in the German coupe club knows about more of these cars.

for anybody with more carb CSL information, here is the current summary of known cars.

But why the #25 livery? Peter has the original #25 and BMW has an another that they said would be changed out but they never did it.

that's a great question. especially since its only a group 2 car.
