A sort of conundrum regarding E9 dash choices.
I have two dashes ready for reinstallation, one re-finished (with ~16” air slots) and the other an original dash in great condition (with ~9” air slots).
So, here’s my problem as my two air louvres fit the 16” slotted dash as expected. I didn’t recognize there are two different sized dash slots in the E9 world. I assume they both were made for the E9. Trying to solve this problem via RealOem but doesn’t help so far.
So, are there any dig-it’s that can help solve the issue between the two different sized dash slots? Much appreciated. Jim

Jim, if you are talking about the top of the dash, could that original part be for a 2000CS? I've got a small collection of 2000CS parts, and most are some degree of different than the e9 parts.

It could be an upper dash for a 2000CS as it looks the same within RealOEM catalog as PC15. Thanks for the help Vraned.

I’ve looked over the real oem a few times and I’m still confused… are the vent covers part of the duct work or separate? One of mine is good… the other is melted. I believe there was an electrical issue (read meltdown) at one point. Duct is fine… cover not so much.

sorry to hijack the OP thread

So, I figured out through deeper research that I have a 2000c/cs (e120) upper dash pad and as suggested by Vraned. Very similar to the E9 dash pad but the two air plenum slots are just shorter, ~9” v 16”.
That said, as it’s a spare and needs to go I intend to list it in the “For Sale” puka.
Thanks.
