Gentlemen-

I have been reading the forums (as usual) and read about your dissatisfaction with the status of the FAQ. As such, I'd like to hear from you all about what you would like to change. I know the price section is out of whack (Hey, it has been 4 years. What do you expect?) so that is on the docket. As such, I have made a poll for certain condition brackets.

Also, I am working on a powertrain upgrade FAQ. It is something that was meant to be added with the original FAQ, but it got shuffled and lost. However, it has been re-created and I will post it for critique soon.

So, let's hear what you want added or changed to the primary FAQ!

Add wheel fitment sizes to FAQ

This would be amazingly helpful with ET range (offset) listings of what will fit 14, 15, 16+ front and rear along with sidewall aspect ratio, along with fender rolling, spacers, camber adjustments, etc.

e9 faq - car values

hmmm ... shouldn't there be a little more breakdown in condition? world of difference between a somewhat rusty driver to a very nice driver ... probably from 10k to 25k - wouldn't ya think?

I was thinking of the poll results as a sort of continuous price spectrum. So, for example, if a parts car is "up to 8k" and a driver is "up to 25k" then the condition breakdown would mean that an 8k parts car would have a ton of rare, usable parts but have body issues while the resulting 9k driver would be barely roadworthy due to rust. The 25k driver would only have a few things keeping it from being "really nice", like banged-up wheels or bad bumpers. Something minor that does not require busting out the welding torch.

This would be amazingly helpful with ET range (offset) listings of what will fit 14, 15, 16+ front and rear along with sidewall aspect ratio, along with fender rolling, spacers, camber adjustments, etc.

I'm not sure if that should be part of the general FAQ or the long-awaited upgrade FAQ, given the stock wheels are pretty well-known.

I wasn't sure what I was voting on, one upper value for each of four conditions? It might just be me though. I agree with a wheel/tire fitment FAQ.

High end cars are prevalent here in much of California

At most recent Cars 'n Coffee while general turnout was much lighter than usual due rains on Friday.

Unusual that there were at least 6 E-9's in attendance and 4 of them would command well over $50K today if they were available--and while all are excellent examples and multiple show winners--am very familiar with all of them--but can't say any are quite "perfect" as perfection is an extremely rare and elusive state of being.

So nobody wants anything on the FAQ changed except for price updates?

be nice to post images direct to forum posts rather than following (sometimes) multiple file links
