Hi Marko,

Many many thanks for your quick response.
I do own E24M6 Track Toy and it's time to open
some track wight... My re-searches
shows that the JPS/Team back in 1983/4
when Group C they used the fender flares/arches
from E9 ?

I studied the shape and I think they are used
from the E9 Gr. 2 with very very minor shaping.

Do you happen to know how is the finish on this
manufacture you linked ?

Regards,
Anri

Hi Anri,

I’m not sure about the e24 flares. The guy
who I’m having paint my car painted Luigi and did the flares. He said it took a ton of work to get them to fit. I’m not sure if they sourced them from zaprace but I’m sure you can find out. The owner of Luigi
is a also a member here and avid racer.

Hello,

this is a guy from Germany, where I bought my Gr. 2 parts:

http://www.schmidt-gfk.de/joomladrei/index.php/bmw/e930csl

He has more parts, just send him a foto of the flares you are looking for and he will tell you if he can offer them. Normally he has all kinds that ever have been produced for the E9. And the quality is perfect!

If you need assistance in translating, please let me know.

Regards from Germany
Alex

For your E24, you are wanting like this? This is E24 Gp C

and you are correct it derived from E9 "Luigi" CSL Gp.2

Hi Gents,

Many thanks for all the inputs.

Yes this is the E24 kit/arches I was
unsure which car they came from ?
and/or they made them Custom for
that group C E24/M88.

But after researches my leed was they
install them from E9/Luigi as mentioned
and yes yes they are.

This E24 Group C had very very few pictures
online and the very few one can not tell
clear the shape. The E24 Group C is a car
became more popular in recent times and
now one can see the pictures more clear.

7 years ago when I started to build my E24M6
track car there was very very few pics online
they are from 100 meters away and it was
unclear.

I spent a lot of time to re-search options
and the closest option I came was from
the Legendary E46M3 GTR BMW MS Works-car.
Their arches are very similar in therms
of how they have flat top part it's not slant
or if is very very minimal, but not really made
to suit the E9/E24 classic look.

I am glad finally this kind of mystery is clear
now. :)

My next question is to my understanding
the few links you guys posted manufacture sells
them in 3" or 4" wide, I assume they are the
same shape but the extension is coming
from the top part ?

Thanks again.

By the end of this month I need to finish up my
6-speed gear box, big custom project and after
that will concentrate on the Arches.

Regards.
Anri
