E9 Headlights

A rather silly question here, is the E9 headlights similar to other models like E10, E21, E23, E24, E28 and E30?

Not sure about the Malaysian market models but the Euro e9 shares the same headlight units as the e3 BMW the Ford Capri and various Volkswagens.
Other BMW models have similar electrical connectors but different mountings.

As Simufly wrote: E3, Capri for sure
For sure all E12; some E21 (if the same diameter, because in E21 where mounted two different types of headlights (per side: single big H4 or double H1), also E24 (but only early models). Should look at lamp glasses as below (2x low beam + 2x high beam).
