E9 Hood Torsion bar stops

Laser cut some of the stop catches if anyone needs these I got extras these are higher carbon steel than the originals.

Oyyy, where were you two months ago! I made my own but found I had to make the horizontal limb longer than original, orignals just would not catch enough for me to not think my life was in danger till mounted.
 
Exactly my thinking! I too noticed that the original stops were too soft. As they bend easily, they are also quickly "too short".

I'm in europe, so perhaps sending them over is more difficult then cutting my own from some steel plate. Or ask my local laser guy to do them.

Could you share the cutting file perhaps?

Based upon the details gleaned from the forum I suited up with a welding mask and gloves. Using one original and one of the harder pieces got the bar installed and works like a charm. Just like new.
