Hi all,

I'm Francesco from Italy. I'v just bought my first BMW, an almost "garage queen" 2800 CS (1970) with 36,000 kms from new. I bought it from the second owner which had it since 2000.
It's Tundra green and it's basically untouched (at least I hope that): it's equipped with a Becker Grand Prix too. All tools and owner's manual. The exhaust only need to be replaced and one rear power window doesn't work, but I think it's a very good car: please let me know your opinion.

Cheers

Welcome to the Forum and it looks very nice.We loved your Country and I'm sure it's a head turner when driving though the country side!

Thank you guys, I'll post more photos of the car as soon as possible.

My plans are to not touch it as it would be a crime: I'm however tempted to put some bigger wheels under it: an easy reversible modification.

I found a set of 16" Rial rims, they are 7" RT23 on the front and 9" ET11 on the rear, they should accomodate respectively 205/55 and 225/50. Do these sizes fit under the car without massaging the wheel arches?

Anyone has sizes like these under his car?
