e9 Parts Car on Seattle's Craigslist

I am interested in the odometer reset mechanism, I lost mine.
That is I think a knob, a cable, and the support pieces proximal to the knob.

Background car looks like a 1985-87 Audi 4000 S. I’ve owned two of them.
wow, interesting find, especially for $1000. Audi Coupe Quattro (maybe UrQuattro?) in the background, too.
I've run into the owner at the grocery store plenty of times over the years and had no clue this was hiding on his property! It's just a little FWD Coupe GT but it is in good shape, and he's clearly kept it alive for a good number of years. I'm going to try and see the car tomorrow or Saturday when his schedule allows.

Update on this car: I went to see it today, it is quite a mess. Has a 4speed trans and all of the running gear. Interior is almost entirely gone, no dash, cluster, seats or door cards etc. Engine is mostly robbed of accessories, lots of water got in through the intake/carb and I'd assume it's mostly rust. Has pedals. Diff does not seem to be an LSD but did not get a good chance to really check since it is so buried in the mud and wheels are locked up pretty good. Glass all looks good. Body is thoroughly rotten. Firewall, fenders, doors, trunk, sunroof/roof. All toast. No front lights or buckets. The rear lamp buckets are in the trunk but extremely brittle and cracked. Misc trim throughout the car, no exterior trim that isnt mangled. This is a tough one.

On a brighter note. He has 2 e9's in the garage and a really nice e24 as well! One malaga/tan that is getting glass and interior put back in with a 3.3L stroker, triple Italian Weber 40s and a 5speed. His brothers gray coupe is 100% disassembled after getting new fenders and quarters welded in and sits in an epoxy primer state.

Sounds like, the windshield might be only thing of real value on the whole car.
