does the stripped shifter console come with the metal plates - the ones that have the electric window switches on it? Do you happen to have the right driver's side chrome trim piece that is at the base of the seat?
 
good buy on the face plate.

Can easily add a plate to go over it if the cut out bothers you. Like this one:
