E9 Registry down or gone?

It is down indefinitely. JJ is looking into new software to host the content. I'm helping him with the database conversion when he is ready, but he is tied up with family affairs.

You can use the wayback machine to look up old content.

I am unfamiliar with this machine of wayback ummmmm could I look up anything on this forum?

A part that I'm interested in is listed on Ebay as coming from a car with VIN 2250001

it's a steering column for an E9 but no year is listed for it. I couldn't find this VIN on the registry in the past
and I technically don't need the whole column I need just the headlight dimmer switch off the left side of the column.
I'm looking for a used or NOS for a 1972 Euro market E9 I've got 1 lead at the moment on a NOS item for the left switch and stock but it's kinda pricey so I'm trying to find alternatives before I take the plunge on it

Interesting, that is the first-ever USA CSA VIN.

Curious then me thinks something might be rotten in Denmark... Or I've stumbled upon the treasure of the Sierra Madre!
