New to 3.0 CS ownership. Can anyone recommend an E9 repair specialist in the Dallas Texas area? Thanks, JK.

Dallas Shop referral

http://www.autoscope.net/category/gallery/ The Plano shop has a proud owner with a very nice coupe in it's customer gallery.

You didn't say what you'd like repaired..... mechanical, electrical, body, etc.

The Lone Star BMW Club has several advertisers. I'd start there.

Hope that it helps.:)

These guys

in College Station really know their stuff. The owner has had several coupes, and personally knows most of the big BMW indy guys.

I know it isn't that close, but it is the best BMW shop I have found in the area. (~200 mile radius)

E9 repair dallas area

Really appreciate the feedback on this board. Just bought a 1973 3.0 CS and wish to get AC evaluated as well as rear seatbelt installations. Thanks y'all.

dallas

I lived in Plano for years, here is my 02 cents
Autoscope is very overpriced and the quality of work is not up $$
Select Classic (Dallas) overpriced terrible workmanship lack of knowledge

Stett Preformance (plano) Quality work knows BMWs extremely well and priced agressively

Hope this helps, there is another place in Coppell, I have not used them but I have heard many good things

If you want an evaluation of the AC, you could stop by Graham Auto Air Conditioning at
5629 SMU Blvd, a couple blocks east of North Central. As I remember they do a land office business and are very competent and reasonable.

A/C problems

Hi from McAllen,

For A/C problems, if you have a good A/C man, he can fix the problem. Luckily, our cars are fairly easy to work on. I use a good mechanic who advertises himself as a Car Electrician but he has done very well by me. Everything that I have asked him to do, he has done. In fact, I had him re-install a new A/C system (everything but the evaporator) into my car. He even fixed my rear shock tower that shattered from fatigue. My car has NO rust.

The only thing that I have not asked him to do is to mess with my triple 45 side draft Weber Carbs.

Over the last few years on my BMWs, I have replaced Starters, Alternators and other parts that I have bought from O'Reilly's at a cheap price with Lifetime Warranties.

These cars are meant to last. I luv them.
