Yes, or something like it. They are shiny, but less rigid than chromed steel. They need some fettling to make them fit properly.

I don't regret buying them as they look good once fixed.

Thank you Rek for your input ! Measuring the thickness will tell all.
Ditto on the "fettling"....what did you have to modify for fittment?
One other thing is that the Ebayer requires advance payment...4-5 weeks out...and who knows the return policy.
Be safe, Jeff

He said the fronts come complete with overriders...rears do not. Just emailed him for thickness....we shall see :)

(2) I have both original and a set of the stainless bumpers, and have posted about them in the forum. fitting up the rear only required a little bit of judicious force while tightening up the fasteners. The front didn't fit mainly because the OE holes in the fenders didn't line up with the ends of the bumper. We figured out the front bumper is likely a copy of a 73 while the rear bumper is clearly a repro of a 72 and earlier.
(3) Contact the seller for details, maybe they have redone the forms and are not making matching front/rear sets.

Why stainless? The only reason that I can see is if you are trying to save $$ and don't care about rear under-riders. A nice OEM bumper set (complete) can easily cost $2k BEFORE chroming. When finished, you could be into an OE setup for $4k-$5k.
