Tom Rakestraw did a heroic job of getting hundreds of BMWs to show up at the Cars & Coffee gathering yesterday. And were there coupes!!! Some of the nicests coupes around and what is probably the nicest E9 Alpina on the planet were all there too. Enough gorgeous car flesh to make any coupe guy's heart go all aflutter. Did I get pictures? Well, lets just say that I'm no where near as good at organizing as Tom. Forgot to clear the camera memory so took a total of four pictures before running out of room. Crap! Got to meet HB Chris in person, though. Nice to be able to put face to name. This was also the largest gathering of Z8s in the US. Ever.
Will try to link the pix I have. If it doesn't work (you'd think with all the help you all have given me, I could figure it out) will post links.

thank for posting the pics Phil!

So did you 'drive' TBL to Cars & Coffee? That'd be a sight on the streets!

Anybody by chance get any pics of the E9 Alpina? Very curious....

Got to take me Couper out today briefly, we currently have a break in the weather up here, short but always a good time!

BTW: Any chance you can bring TBL up to Laguna Seca for SCCA Vintage in April? Elvis might be hanging out in the paddock with our circus..

yes, there was a 3200 Bertone too. I have photos but I can't figure out how to post. What do I need to do, save them to a web site first?

Hi Mike,

Open a Photobucket acount (or free image host of your choice), upload your pics, then link to here. It's simple, (thanks Malc).
