The worst horror story involving an E9 is a 1979 movie, "The Promise" starring Kathleen Quinlan. In the movie, the stars are in a car wreck where an E9 gets hit head on and totaled. The movie is a chick flick love story but it's a horror movie in my book.

Yup, Susan Dey drove a Granatrot '74 with a creme interior. Only seen in a couple of segments, and very briefly then.
I clearly remember the Granatrot color as it was the same color as my first CS.

mention A BMW 3.0 CSi was seen in Herbie Goes to Monte Carlo as one of the competing cars in the Trans-France Race.
