Depending on reserve, this looks like it may be interesting......

Since Mario at VSR did a lot of the care, that helps the provenance. Originally auto swapped to 5 speed - so that's already done...Looks like there was a CCA badge on the grille once upon a time as well.

Seems like every 2800 is either Sahara, Malaga or Fjord......

New owner required to replace driver's mirror immediately.....really love the pre Bav E3s

Yes, I think you're right - I had 02s on the brain this morning....

Nice car, wonder if anyone here knows of it

Seller offers to take more specific photos on request. Why not just take them at the get go and post.

Bought the exact same car in 1971 (dealer demo, discounted sale after the Bavaria came out. The 2800 was far better equipped and lower cost!). Drove it until '78, traded for a Fjord blue/tan 3.0Si. Only unsatisfactory part of the 2800 was the automatic trans, and this one has that 'solved'.

Should be a very nice car for someone wanting a classic BMW 4 door, and one that helped save the company back in those difficult days.

Seems like every 2800 is either Sahara, Malaga or Fjord...... And granada:p
