Ebay 73..looks good to me

Removed and filled my side markers and bumpers when I 'manipulated' my car.
Took it back to its original delivery Euro form.

Have never had an issue with the law in CA in 12 years, have driven 100,000kms now. (Metric speedo too)

I plan on doing the same. I've never heard of anyone outside of NJ or PA getting pulled over for this kind of stuff.

Two more words that strike fear in any older gearhead's heart: Jill Claybrook! I have lived in PA for a loooong time and never heard of anyone being pulled over for decorative issues. How many cops know anything about our cars? Yes, a few of us have been pulled over - by admiring cops who want to know more about this incredibly beautiful machine.

I had the PPI done on the car. Overall it is a solid car - a good paint job but only did the top 6 inches of the engine bay. The interior is a bit tired and has some signs of water leaking on the drivers side. Some surface rust but nothing major. Engine was rebuilt - had a cracked head which was repaired, not replaced. Ran into some electrical issues with the PPI - alternator not charging and then the blower motor smoking during the test drive.

It spent some time in Michigan early on which is where some of the rust issues (which were remediated) came from.

Overall a nice solid car but I decided it was not worth $50k+ to me. I do like the fact that it is essentially a one-owner car and has some interesting records including detailed mileage logs from the earlier years.

I am now at a point where I will try to find something local that I can get my own hands on or buy from a reputable member on this forum. I am hesitant to buy through a dealer at this stage.

I would be happy to discuss the car with any interested parties - just PM me.
