ECU to Engine Bay Loom Pathway?

Hi folks,

Can anyone explain (or provide an image) of the pathway of the ECU loom from under the rear seat to the engine bay please?

As far as I can tell from photos, it runs from the ECU up the right sill to the right seat, but doesn't appear to continue onward up toward the accelerator on a RHD car.

Does it head left to the transmission tunnel (underneath the right seat) and then forward to the dash?

Thanks

It goes around the edge of the rear seat support. Then along the rocker and under/through the front seat support. At the base of the front seat support it drops into the frame rail. It comes out near the ignition coil.

Thank you so much for your reply. Just confirming the terminology, 'frame rail' is the same as 'chassis rail' (as I know it in this part of the world)? If so therefore it travels from under the right front seat, drops down inside the right side frame rail / chassis rail all the way up into the engine bay?

Would this be the hole the loom disappears down into? (Not my photo).

Andy- that doesn’t look correct.
It’s 4:00 am in Maui and I’m heading home today- happy to send you a pic tomorrow.

This maybe the first and only time where i think I can beat Mr E9, the Don himself.
In his defense, 4 am is hardly anybodies time of the day to be sharp. But it does speak of devotion when you're forum-ing at that time...

I actually do think that the rectangular hole in your picture IS the hole in which the harness disappears.
Under that hole for sure is the frame rails. It has a direct channel towards the front right side of the engine.
The harness can pop out under the coil in the engine compartment as @Markos noted.

But, small disclaimer: I have only seen images of this wiring there, so I could be mistaking. My car is a carbed automatic, so a different animal all together.
