Munich, Germany is always worth a visit. Specially the BMW Museum and the BMW Classic special abteilung. Several M1s and at least one Golf injection CSL and the Inka carb CSL is for display. The BMW Classic Chamonix CSL (4355046) was sold together with a White M1 at an auction in Dubai not so long time ago. But there are still many interesting cars there to see.
However, if you are in the Munich region and close to Amerang (just 1 hour drive from Munich), there is another very interesting Museum. The EFA Museum:

More than 200 German cars including a Chamonix Bat (3153 cc - ex city pack?) CSL, a nice M1, Glas 3000 V8 and 507 etc. Well worth to pay a visit.
Cheers
