Your fuse had gone bad NOT because you ran too much current through it !!!!
Do yourself a favor and replace all of the fuses ! Use a brass soft brush and clean the end Cooper tips of the fuse holders! You will save yourself a lot of grief , time and money.
It is still amazing to me on how many times I have run into issues like that and I overlook the fuses. If you decide not to waste the good fuses at least clean the Copper tips on the fuse box!
What happens is when small amount of corrosion builds up on the fuse holder tips the weakest connection is where (not visible) corrosion has started and each time current is going through the fuse that section gets hot (I call it micro welder) over time the metal tip of the fuse become so weak and in fact has little to no continuity which is not visible, you can’t even see the disconnect unless you remove the fuse and inspect it closely...
