Does anybody have a good source for the electric window switch for a 1971 BMW E9. Pushed mine today and it collapsed. Thanks, E

I do have one with side connectors rusted and must be steel brushed off.
If you want it I will send it to you Monday.
I am recovering the chrome as we speak.

Sorry to hijack - but I'm curious, how do you recover the chrome? My switches all work (for now), but their bezels have seen better days. I try to be really careful when I need to remove them, but still the "chrome" is pretty banged up.

Thanks,
Dan

Hi Steve. Here are a few photos.

You can use "Chrome" wrap but it is an art to get them to look nice. Be glad you don't have the switch with the round spades which are about 2.5x the price. If you do, look up the part for Mercedes, same part, a lot cheaper.
