Love him or hate him, and no, he's not credited directly with either end product, but the E90 coupe is the second-most beautiful BMW ever (*subjective...!), and the 1 series looks great. And, the more I see the new 5-series cars, the more I appreciate them.

Too bad Von Hooydonk is the successor. While Bangle was the lightening rod, Von Hooydonk was more responsible for some of the more hideous designs. I don't think there will be much change- especially where the BMW board still has to approve designs for production cars.
