You may know this.

If you want to do a valve adjustment and advancing the engine to adjust each cylinders valves can be a pain.
Put it in gear and roll it is one way, big nut on front hub is another.

Mine is a 72 so this may not work on all the coupes.
You know the orange diagnostic connector in your engine compartment near the PS fluid reservoir?
Open the top if you're lucky enough to have one and the pin on the top left (pin1) and top right (pin7)if connected will turn over your motor. Disconnect the coil wire just to be safe but the key is not on so shouldn't have to worry about starting.
I made up a simple little button and some wires so all I have to do is plug in and bump the button to advance the engine.
Photos explain this better than I can.
