Hi everyone,
I was woken up this morning by a call from the restorer asking what color the engine should be. I haven't seen the engine in three years, so this this is what I remember:
block: black, semi-gloss?
valve cover: unpainted aluminum
intake manifold: unpainted aluminum
exhaust manifold: unpainted and rusty
head: silver, Is this painted or just the natural aluminum?
oil pan: silver
air filter housing: very slightly greenish medium grey, there was a recent thread about this.
oil filter cover: reddish orange, there's an old thread about this
Am I remembering these colors correctly? Thanks.
