It really does pay to leave your engine bits and a plate of Vegemite sandwiches out. We did just that, and the next morning, the head was on! We did bugger up the exhaust manifold bits with the wrong type of engine. The elves did show their displeasure with the same plate full of nuggets and right hand drive exhaust manifold parts strewn about.

...well Vern, there's your problem right there !...Ozzie Elves were obviously pissed off that there were no cold "frothies" to wash down some crappy vegemite sandwiches.

I'll be sure to leave the Elves some XXXX Beer, then. Perhaps, the exhaust will pop up!

So as not to further offend our mysterious friends, what frothies do the good Elves prefer?

Vern, can recommend James Squire one fifty lashes ( it's a pale ale ) . Also, for your good selves, maybe try Matso's Ginger Beer ( alcoholic )while you're here ; originally made at a micro brewery in the historic pearling town of Broome in the north of Western Australia (but now available nationwide). You should be able to get both from a Dan Murphy's store if you want to give them a go. Cheers, Simon

I've had the one fifty. Good stuff! Will drink the other.

Back in the day i crsuhed some Tooheys and Coopers when i was in Oz circa 1980. Probably considered industrial in today's beer renaissance
