So, just starting make plans for the new engine, question to start.
The short block I have has 3.0 / 3.3 on the side of it 88.8 mm bore x 86 stroke making approx 3.2 ltr
When I bought this engine it also came with a set of 92mm mahle forged pistons, these pistons in the above mentioned block gives 3.4 ltr, apparently this is the spec BMW ran the 635csi's in the group A race series back in the 80's
My question is, what's your thoughts on this combo? What do you think about removing 1.5mm from the bore walls?
