Any views on engine mounts?
If nothing knocks leave well alone, or whilst doing some serious work on the driveline change them?
If changing, what’s best, standard original or some modern poly something version? I have a standard car with no extra hp and drive it like I own it, which luckily I do.
Thank you.

If they have sagged or have cracks then replace with factory original, poly is not he way to go with these, save that for sway bar end links only.

When they look like a marsh mellow and feel like one, it's time. Same goes for the transmission mount tho you cannot really see it.

Has anyone done BMW liquid filled motor mounts?

I think BMW did these on the e30 M3, but am unsure whether they will fit an e9.

It looks to me like the e34 535i, e34 M5 and the E32s also had liquid filled motor mounts.

Any Euro turbo e32 folks here? What about the folks who have crammed an S38 into a coupe? Which mounts did all y'all use?
