Engine parts.

I have two new old stock engine parts for the e9 engine, as I only have one e9 now it seems a waste to keep two. The part numbers are 11 53 1 256 494 NLA from BMW and the part that supersceded it 11 53 1 261 156 allegedly still available from BMW for $80.00 or so.

Anybody intrested in one of these?

Since you did not post the name of the part, I searched the latter part number on realoem. It does not come up for E9; and the latter part number is shown as "ENDED".

Possibly it fits an E9, but it's shown correct for E3, E12, E23 and E24.

Yep thats the bit.
The ealier one is cad plated, that later one is black painted with slightly longer sideways pipes
