euro lenses $139 a pair

The photo of the coupe in the eBay listing is mine by the way... The eBay listing for the lenses is not. Should I ask for royalties ?!

Duane,

your car looks great - i see why the seller used it ... haven't seen clear turn signals on too many coupes. looks excellent on polaris

Can anyone comment on the quality of these lenses? I know in the E36 world there are very different levels of corner marker quality.

theoretically the original brand that manufactured the lenses was something like "sigler", i am not completely sure of the spelling, but it sounds like that

the problem is that any reproduction will also copy the name, so it is very difficult to say anything on the quality

Bob,

i can speak to the quality of these lenses, as i have a set of the italian (amber + white) lenses on my car. they fit perfectly - NO issues. my car had the sigla amber (euro) lenses on it ... remember, you will have to trim the reflector plastic within the fixture to go from the large lights to the euro lights.

Thanks for putting my concerns to rest

I purchased a set of Italian lenses. Now I am confident in the purchase and quality!
Thanks for the update on the reflector trim requirement.

I can remove the pic from my auction if you would like, Duane, didnt know whose it was when I lifted it from the net, or maybe you or someone sent it to me. I should probably have more of a close up of the lens on a polaris car, I think they look best on polaris or swartz or even chamonix. As for the lenses, they do not say what the OE parts do, nor do they have the Roundel molded in, they say SIMA. They are injection molded in a highly polished, expensive mold and are very high quality and fit exactly the same as an OE lens. Last time I checked one Euro lens costs over $156 EACH (Penskeparts.com). That changes regularly, but I know these repros are far less expensive and look great, and of course Italian and clear are never available anywhere. I have a pair of Italian lenses from this source on my own Inka CSiL. If you would like more pics or have questions feel free to email me directly at [email protected].

It's all good. My coupe appreciates the appreciation.... Think of me Dan next time I order parts for my coupe. Happy new year and success for 2013!

They are back on ebay at same price, however I do not have any more amber to sell, they are on the way from Germany and will be avail in 4-6 weeks. If you want to buy them email me at [email protected] and I will put you on the list for a pair at this great price. I was a bit surprised to see how high they have gone from BMW, $159 for one side and $156 for the other!! Over three hundred bucks for two pieces of plastic that had to cost less than two dollars each to manufacture. Ridiculous as are so many other BMW Mobile Tradition new parts. I priced an accelerator pedal the other day, over a hundred bucks! Come on BMW!
