I am selling the last of my E9 parts that I have held onto waiting for a resto candidate to use them on. I have an excellent rear bumper, complete set of tan seats in excellent condition, a complete set of beltline trim, headlight grilles, and a rare set of rocker covers in very nice condition. Pics on request

CAUTION: Seller (Wayne Smith) makes a deal but if someone makes him a better offer you will be out of luck. Tried to buy a bumper, agreed to price, agreed to pay shipping but someone else offered him fifty dollars more and thus I lost. I figured if I matched the higher offer he would just go back and try to get more from the other guy, so suggested he put it somewhere it would never see the sun again.

You can infer this person's integrity is easily purchased for a lousy fifty bucks. Trust your money to this person at your extreme risk.

BTW, seller told me the items he just listed like beltline trim and rocker covers were sold for full price. Another untruth.

coupeguy tends to see things only through his own eyes. My parts were quoted to many board members at the same price. Coupeguy elected to make several lowball offers..NONE of which were accepted by me. The bumper he mentioned was sold for the initial price. Just because a prospective buyer makes an offer, does not obligate a seller to accept and sell for that price.

Oh, and by the way the parts that i currently have for sale were extra sets of the parts sold over the weekend. Once again, coupeguy tends to assume things when he has no clue as to the truth regarding an issue

Funny, seller was empahtic he sold the bumper at $200, not the $150 I was quoted and then denied. Believe this person at your own risk. Of course I tried to buy the bumper for less, why not? Most people would expect it, not be all little girl teary about it like this guy. If you would like to see the emails where I accepted his terms, let me know. Seller has that typical convenient memory. Again, integrity is for sale for fifty dollars. How sad is that?

The bumper sold for the amount I originally quoted coupeguy...not the price he tried to negotiate which was indeed $150 shipped..then he offered to split the shipping costs...then he offered to pay the entire shipping costs. All the while there were others inquiring about the parts. If he wanted the bumper so badly why didn't he just buy it? If anyone is all girl teary hear it is a buyer who lost out on a good deal and now is complaining about it. Man it is just a part..get over it Dan!

I am WAY over it, just trying to help other forum members by telling them of my negative experience with you. And little girl teary is exactly what you sound like.

End of pissing contest, I have warned the forum members, you can believe whomever you wish, but this guy is just plain lying. I have the emails to prove it. End of my participation (unless there are other lies posted by this "person").

Okay, maybe I shouldn't say this, but this is actually pretty entertaining. I work at a German car wrecking yard. What you guys are describing goes on ALL DAY LONG EVERY DAY! Funny thing is, I would bet that if you guys sat down and had a beer together you'd probably laugh at all this. Seriously, in the big scheme of things we ARE talking about some used car parts!

Let's all take a step back and feel fortunate that we can own these beautiful cars...

Dan
