never heard of them before. Where did they get their pattern? Copy of some other?
I got what were supposed to be a set of NOS 1-5/8"(?) Stahl headers, 3-2-1, for $150 about a year ago. No brand name tag on them so there is some doubt as to whose they actually were, but from a long-time BMW owner that I trust.
I thought installation would be a snap until I tried to get them on between the motor and inner fender. Took me hours of fighting with it. There is one and only one way to do it, and I had to snake 'em in juuuuussst right. Then I had to slightly shorten one side with the Dremel.
The exhaust note is slightly deeper but not louder (rest of system is stock).
450 clams is toooooo muuuuuuuuuuuch, you won't see much if any performance difference. If it's cosmetics that floats your boat, have the stock manifolds ceramic coated, and polish the aluminum cover plate if you still have it.
