Exhaust heat shield

In the Feb. edition of Hemmings Sports &Exotic Cars there is an ad for Thermo Tec's stainless heat shield. Looks nice, kind of a combination of screening and chainmail. One foot length is $59 and two foot is $84. Has anyone tried this product?
