Exhaust Mount at Gearbox Question

Hey forum - My E9 was originally an Automatic Gearbox car that now has a Getrag 265 5-Speed installed. Is there supposed to be a gearbox mounting support like the Mounting Kit that W&N sells in the link below? Is it possible to even have a mount as such for Getrag? It looks like my car does not have any exhaust gearbox mount installed. Is it a problem without this support? Many thanks.

Without a mount the asbestos lined disc will wear out sooner even if you keep tightening the three bolts for each downpipe and the rattle will drive you crazy. You need to fabricate something.

Thank you Chris. Do you suppose that Mounting Kit would work? The swap was done many years ago without any issues thus far. I will have to fabricate if that kit doesn't work.

That is for a four speed so no, not without bending, lengthening and welding.
