Anyone have suggestions for replacing some or all of the exhaust system on the cheap? I wanted to replace my missing chrome exhaust tip but the tail pipe measures 50mm dia.
That seems a little small especially with my b35. The next single pipe upstream before the intermediate muffler/resonator is 50mm and the one between that small resonator and the big middle muffler/resonator is 55mm. This all seems a little small, no? Considering other b30s used 60mm at least at the end.
Also, I have 3 muffler/resonators and the middle one looks more like a cigar than the pictures I see of "intermediate silencer- 18121107886"
I'm thinking about visiting a muffler shop- anyone done this? I want to avoid that "ripping" sound I hear from loud aftermarket inline 6 exhausts, though. Pipe dream?
