I finally got my car back :-D :-D after wait 22 years from Paint and Body and now its time to put it all back together. Can anyone tell me where is the best place to purchase the "T" screws that slide onto the Exterior Deco Strip that runs almost all the away around the car. I also need the nuts and rubber washers. I am going through this right now and decided to use molding tape (which is basically high-end double sided tape) rather than the screws themselves. It was very difficult to find a sufficient number in good condition. Happy to provide more details unless you want to stay completely original.
FWIW, the "T" screws and nuts are still available from BMW. I would rather let any moisture run behind the moldings and down the body than trap it above or behind the molding.
