I am offering for sale one very rare 1973 BMW 3.0CS in rare "GOLF" Green [yellow]. This is a 99.99% rust-free blue license plate California car acquired from the owner of 21 years in Santa Barbara a few years ago. It has 85,000 original miles on a working odometer. It is all original with untouched leather and wood interior, except for fresh repaint [nice driver quality], upgraded 5 speed overdrive, Nardi steering wheel. Has 16" BBS RS wheels on it along with stock 14s included. Even the am/fm radio works. Offered at $27,500. Phone calls please to 650-307-2251. Folks, I strongly, STRONGLY advise the utmost caution dealing with bimmerbrothers. From extremely painful personal experiece buying a car and trusting these people I can tell you the only real option you have is a personal inspection. Save yourself a lot of grief.

Agree with Coupeguy.

I bought a car from Evan, a long distance transaction where I did not inspect the car personally but depended upon someone else.

In the end, I was thrilled with the car (an E28 5 series), but it required another $3-4K to get it to be as it was originally advertised by Evan.

My car arrived filthy, actual trash inside the car, with maybe a gallon of gas in it. The windshield ended up getting cracked during shipping. It was up to me to coordinate the repair with Evan's shipper.

Evan is a very nice guy, but knows very little about cars, and has not a clue what customer service means.

Make sure that you inspect them personally and then deduct 20% from his price (or more in this market) which is typically his mark up.

Wow. My car is in as good of shape as that car and I thought it was worth around $12k or so (69 2800cs). Based on the pics, what price range would you put that CS in?

Without seeing more pictures; it seems to have good paint, low miles, and the desireable 5 speed.
It does not have a 3.5L engine so maybe the price is about $3,000 high. But maybe not...
Someone would need to have a close up look

If I am not mistaken, he has had that car for sale for well over a year, making a showing on eBay several times during that time. I would say its about 10k high based on previous experience.

I have seen this car a few times over the last few years, I do not think its worth the money, I am sure Bimmerbros will take an other. It is worth looking at but not for anything worth what they are asking. It is interesting it pops up after Joshs Csl sells for 65k.
Just my 2c worth

This car has been on ebay more times than any other coupe in the last year. IMHO, while Golf is a favored color, one has to wonder WHY this car has not sold after getting so much exposure????
