Fan Clutch ID

I found this thing on my car, anybody recognize it? Came off my 73 CS euro with no AC. Also alternator is 45 amps, any reason to go to 55?

the old crappy OEM friction fan clutch. upgrade it to modern one as thes are head melters. more amps is better, especially with ac.
