The Meyle guibo, aka flex disc, was falling apart when my engine was removed by the restoration shop back in 2020. It was probably 15 + years old with less than 4K miles driven in Hawaii by the previous owner. I bought a new Meyle # 26111107832 guibo along with several other parts from FCP Euro in April 2020.
When my drive train needed maintenance last year,we found the guibo was cracked after 5 years and about 20K miles.
I returned it to FCP per their lifetime replacement policy. But you first have to buy a new one from them as a replacement. Then you get a store credit for your original purchase.
Here's the math:
Original price was $31.92 in 2020
Return USPS paid by me was $13.70 to Milford, Conn.
The new Meyle replacement was $57.59 in 2025.
Store credit was $34.15. (taxes are part of the math)
I just used the credit to buy oil filters.
