As the title says, we are lucky here in the middle of good old Europe.

A great barn find, 75km away from Vienna, unfortunately not mine, but now in the property of a club-colleague!
I´m a little bit envious, especially because I know what he had payed for this triple Weber linkage:

There is also the fact, that it has a sharper camshaft in a new rebuild cylinderhead, and the engine is running! We checked it today ! The gas hose connection is leaking everywhere, but it does a single cough.........

To be continued........

sehr gut!

Give ya 500 bucks for it? :)

I notice the bulkhead and cover between the engine compartment and wiper tray is missing or was removed. Thus any engine fumes go straight through the ventilation system into the passenger compartment...

Any thoughts why this was done?

That it why this is a barn find, along with the previous owner skeleton.

Maybe the reason ! As I wrote before: The gas hose connection is leaking everywhere, but cough..cough..cough..cough...

Kidding aside, we found remains of a special ventilation, an aluminium hose like from a kitchen hood to one of the holes in the bonnet.
Kind a projekt car, hotwiring of the ignition lock, starting button underneath the dash, diaphragm pump in the trunk without a pressure limitation etc. No idea how this can work....
Engine seems to be a 3,0 litre or more, but the chassis is a 2,5CS with thin tin roof, original colour was Taiga, one of the late models with adjustable steering column.
Floor pans are like those of Fred Flintstone, but above there´s not so much rust as I thought, perfect clearance of doors, wish my Orange had that finish.
