The weather held out in Atlanta last night and I had the pleasure of meeting Scott and Gary for a good look at Scott's 2800CS (or should that be 3.5CSi?) and Gary's E28 M5 before swapping car stories over burgers and beer. As always, it is great to put a face with a name.

One up side of my job travel is the ability to meet coupe owners in far flung areas. From Honolulu in Oahu to Luis in Wisconsin to Scott in Atlanta, the coupe guys have been gracious, knowledgeable about their cars and cars in general, enthusiastic and fun!

Thanks Scott and Gary and thank you all who I may have been remiss in mentioning. You have all added to my body of knowledge and everything I learn make my coupe a bit better!

I look forward to meeting new people and seeing my old friends again!

Great meeting you last night Stan. Fun to hear other peoples stories about their coupes and BMW's.
Sorry my coupe didn't make it to dinner. Still hooking up an electric fuel pump. Hopefully see you again at some BMW meet along the east coast?

Stan,

it was a pleasure to put a face to a name. i look forward to crossing paths many times again. with hope i will make it to Boston in the not too distant future and can rent a car + drive up to NH to take a ride in the great white. i'm really glad that Gary was able to make it out too. it was fun, and look forward to doing it again ... during the day i was so afraid it was going to rain early in the evening and have to leave the coupe at home. luckily, the rain held off until late in the night.

cheers ...
scott
