Fender flares??

This won't be something a lot of you guys will like, but each to their own.
Have been thinking the e9 would look kind of cool with bolt on fender flares similar to those that the Datsun Z's use, could then put some wider wheels and tyres on and run it a bit lower.

Has anyone done this or seen a picture of an E9 with something similar ?
I was thinking if the 2002 turbo flares could be adapted maybe?

I like the look of the Datsun Z

Not my cup of tea, not sure if that sort of flare would fit on an E9

I might be interested in a more subtle flare; something about half the size of the tii flare.

And in any event, I am not a fan of the lower the car until you cannot see the top portion of the wheel and tire look.
